But are you paying attention to what’s going on??? My heart is so heavy….. so heavy…
An attorney for the family of John Crawford III, the man fatally shot by police in an Ohio Walmart store, says surveillance video contradicts the police department’s version of events. Officers say Crawford refused to drop the pellet gun he was holding, but the video allegedly shows them gunning him down “on sight.”
Crawford, 22, was shopping at the Beavercreek, Ohio store on Aug. 5 whenpolice responded to another customer’s report that Crawford was carrying an AR-15 rifle. He was actually holding a pellet air rifle he had just picked up from a shelf in the store’s toy department.
Attorney Michael Wright says he viewed surveillance video that shows Crawford was facing away from the cops and talking to his girlfriend on the phone when police spotted him, and didn’t have the toy gun raised. Hetold WDTN Crawford probably didn’t see or hear the officers before he was shot.
"John was doing nothing wrong in Walmart, nothing more, nothing less than shopping,"Wright said, according to Reuters.
I met with a friend to collect the taobao items I bought in our comm GO. I wore Haenuli’s Stained Glass of St Giles in a black x gold coord even though it was sweltering hot and there were flying ants everywhere ;;A;;
Your ask is working, so I really hope you see this! I’d love to know if you dress lolita/ouji (I hope that’s right) frequently, or just for occasions? Your outfits are all so beautiful!
Hello, there~! ヾ(｡･ω･｡) Lolita and ouji fashion is the only thing in my wardrobe, so I wear it every day (when I’m not in my teashop uniform). I work most days in term breaks, so I tend to end up throwing on some roomwear when I get home ^^;;;; But when I’m at uni this is my everyday wear (･ω･`｡)
That is really neat! How did you get into this? And where do you buy your clothes? I just can’t get over have beautiful they are. I sent this to my boyfriend and told him I want clothes like this and now he can’t get over it either, haha.
Also do you ever get negative backlash or anything from people? Sorry, I’m just so curious :3
I got into lolita about 7 years ago through wearing gothic fashion, and first started wearing lolita exclusively about 3 years ago. Most of the items I buy are from secondhand sales sites (such as Facebook, Lacemarket, Closet Child and Mbok), some of them come direct from the brand website or designer and some of them I make myself.
I think you get just as much negative backlash wearing lolita as you do with any other alternative fashion. People are definitely more endeared to my classic outfits (especially old ladies, who tend to cross to the other side of the street when I’m wearing gothic ><;;), though I still get the usual “Bo Peep” comments. I get a lot of people asking whether I’m in a play or going to a party, and heaps of tourists asking for photos when I’m at uni. Oddly enough, people find it stranger when I wear ouji than when I wear frilly dresses. Little children tend to love it, though! I genuinely couldn’t care less if people don’t like what I wear, and much less if they make negative comments. Luckily, people are generally positive about it “ヽ(´▽｀)ノ”
Otakuthon Coordinate Day 1: Outfit Rundown: Blouse: Secondhand Skirt: Vintage Bolero: Secondhand Shoes: Payless, and Browns. Accessories: Offbrand & Secondhand.
I really enjoyed this coord. I was actually supposed to wear it at Anime North 2014 but that didn’t happen. ;; v ;; I absolutely adore country lolita and I’d like to do more coords like this in the future. To be honest honest, I didn’t realise how much I was in love with this coord until I saw the pictures. (This is also the first time I’ve successfully done a wash ‘n go on my hair, and I’m real glad it turned out for the con.)
Thank you Malli for taking photos of my coord, I really appreciate it. (୨୧•͈ᴗ•͈)◞ᵗʱᵃᵑᵏઽ*♡
